This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which orders may be cancelled, and refunds or replacements issued. By placing an order on thecanaryexports.com, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Order Cancellation
1.1 Cancellation by You
- Orders can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of being placed, provided the order has not already been shipped or processed for manufacturing (for custom/bulk export orders).

- Once an order has been shipped or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. In such cases, our standard Return Policy (see below) will apply instead.
- Custom-made or bulk/export orders that have already entered production cannot be cancelled, as materials and labor would already be committed.
1.2 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel an order at our discretion in situations including but not limited to:
- Unavailability of stock or raw materials;
- Errors in product pricing or description;
- Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions;
- Inability to ship to the provided address due to logistical or customs restrictions.
If we cancel your order, you will be notified via email or phone, and a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.
2. Returns and Replacements
Because our products are handmade using natural materials such as leather, we accept returns or replacements only under the following circumstances:
- The product received is damaged, defective, or has a manufacturing fault;
- The product delivered is incorrect (wrong item, size, or specification from what was ordered);
- The product is significantly different from its description on the Site.
Requests for return or replacement must be raised within 7 days of delivery, along with clear photos or videos of the product and packaging showing the issue. Products must be unused, in their original packaging, with all tags and accessories intact.
Non-Returnable Items
- Products that show signs of use, wear, or washing;
- Customized or made-to-order items (including bulk/export orders manufactured to buyer specifications);
- Items returned without prior authorization from our team;
- Products returned after the 7-day window has elapsed.
3. Refund Process
- Once a returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement request.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
- For bank transfers or international wire payments (applicable to bulk/export orders), refunds may take longer to reflect depending on your bank’s processing times.
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item).
- Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer, unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part, in which case we will arrange or reimburse return shipping.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos of the item and packaging. We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund at no additional cost to you, based on the nature of the issue.
5. Bulk and Export Order Cancellations
For bulk and international export orders, cancellation terms may vary based on the production stage and any agreement or invoice terms signed between the buyer and The Canary Exports. Any advance payment or deposit made towards a confirmed bulk/export order may be non-refundable once production has commenced, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within the timeframe mentioned above:
- First check your bank account or payment method again;
- Contact your bank or card provider, as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted;
